The San Francisco 49ers finished short of their goal in 2025. After a 12-5 regular season, the Niners were blown out by the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, 41-6, in the divisional round.
Now, GM John Lynch and HC Kyle Shanahan head into the offseason with some minor roster losses and a couple of major additions. Including replacing defensive coordinator Robert Saleh (Titans HC) with former Falcons HC Raheem Morris.

San Francisco 49ers 2026 7 Round NFL Mock Draft
1-27: Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State
Iheanachor should not be asked to start right away. But the health and age of Trent Williams dictate that the 49ers need a developmental prospect at the position. Iheanachor is still a relative pup when it comes to football experience. But his athletic upside is too much to pass up here.
2-58: Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama
Bernard is a versatile wide receiver prospect. He is a tremendous route runner with nice hands. Bernard is a top-level athlete. But he will be a great target for Brock Purdy. Whether that is on the outside or in the slot where Jauan Jennings is still unsigned.
4-127: Caden Curry, EDGE, Ohio State
Curry hasn’t tested well to this point in the process. He didn’t break out at OSU until his final year. Curry had great production in his final year in Columbus. He will start as a rotational piece on their defense with potential starter upside.
REST OF THE PICKS
4-133: Bud Clark, S, TCU
4-138: Zxavian Harris, DL, Mississippi
4-139: Parker Brailsford, IOL, Alabama
San Francisco 49ers 2026 7 Round NFL Mock Draft Analysis
The 49ers enter the 2026 NFL Draft without any pressing needs in their starting lineup. Which is always a nice feeling. They need to start looking at the future, however. That’s why the picks of Iheanachor and Bernard hit for me. Both players could be pressed into starting roles as rookies. But most likely in 2027.
