Interwoven Studios just became a property owner.
Last month, the production house purchased a fully equipped 6,000‑square‑foot soundstage at 800 Seward St. in Hollywood for $5.25 million, the first property it owns instead of renting.
Interwoven Studios – which is geared towards social media influencers and content creators – has experienced exponential growth in a booming creator market. It now has four studio locations in operation, coming a long way since opening its first studio in Miracle Mile in 2022.
“For Harrison and me it is a very gratifying milestone – one that signals to ourselves that all of our hard work, and all of the accumulated long days of building something we are passionate about, is beginning to pay off,” said Chance Horky, who founded Interwoven Studios with childhood friend Harrison Sheinberg in 2022. “As owners, we’ll be the ones who get final say over a lot of decisions regarding the use of space at our location. This will allow us to be an even better, more flexible and accommodating partner to the production teams who come to our location and trust us as a comfortable home for their ideas, crews, clients and partners.”
Expanding into Hollywood Media District means that the duo will rub shoulders with creatives in some of the most famous production hubs. Netflix Inc., Sunset Las Palmas Studios, Milk Studios and Red Studios have all set up shops in the corridor, and Horky said the duo were excited to be part of the creative ecosystem.
