And the Oscar goes to… Channing Tatum’s bedazzled thong from “Magic Mike.”

Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. whipped out Tatum’s sequined undies during Sunday’s ceremony — definitely not on our awards season bingo card. The racy moment happened when Chris Evans and RDJ were presenting the night’s screenplay honors.

During their banter, Evans teased Downey Jr. for not getting him a gift on the 14th anniversary of their first “Avengers” film. He said he had given Downey Jr. a copy of the Marvel movie’s screenplay signed by the cast and crew — yet all Evans got in return was a valet ticket, which Downey Jr. quickly reclaimed.

Evans began to present the Original Screenplay award by himself; however, Downey Jr. ran back on stage and interrupted him, confessing, “I was just joshing! Of course I got you something.”
No, it wasn’t an Infinity Stone. It was something much more powerful.
Flubbing the name, Downey Jr. revealed, “I got you the official Tanning Chatum thong from ‘Magic Mike.’ Sequined, it’s got like a mirrorball effect. Light usage.”

The audience laughed as Downey Jr. pulled the iconic underwear from his suit pocket. Captain America was no match for the infamous panties — shocked, he exclaimed, “I have no words.” However, Tatum had plenty to say. He yelled from the audience, “Hey, I’m gonna need that back though!”

Downey Jr. fired back, “For what?” Tatum quipped, “I’ve gotta work later, what are you talking about?”
