BASEBALL TOP 10

1. ST. JOHN BOSCO (4-0)
The Braves have outscored their opponents by a 33-1 margin. Bosco went 2-0 last week with blowout victories against Los Osos and Damien. Senior Noah Everly had three RBIs in a 13-1 win against Los Osos. Senior Miles Clark had three RBIs in an 11-0 win against Damien. Bosco will begin Trinity League play this week with a three-game series against JSerra.

2. GAHR (3-3)
The Gladiators have dropped three straight games. They allowed a combined five runs but were scoreless in losses to Harvard-Westlake 1-0, St. John Bosco 1-0 and Norco 3-0. They play this week in the Bishop Gorman Invitational in Las Vegas and have three-game Gateway League series next week against La Mirada.

3. LA MIRADA (5-2)
The Matadores beat Campo Verde 4-3 in nonleague play on Friday, March 13. Junior infielder Michael Burgueno had two RBIs. Sophomore Julian Pardinas picked up the win with three scoreless innings. They play nonleague games this week against Etiwanda, Riverside Prep and Aliso Niguel.

4. WARREN (6-3)
The Bears went 1-2 in nonleague play last week with a victory over Santa Fe and losses to San Dimas and Westlake. Warren begins Gateway League play this week with a three-game series against crosstown rival Downey.

5. LOS ALAMITOS (5-4)
The Griffins move up to No. 5 in the rankings after winning two of three against Fountain Valley in a Sunset League series. Senior pitcher Ryan Deck threw a shutout to begin league play. Los Alamitos will play a three-game league series against Edison this week.

6. MILLIKAN (5-4)
The Rams went 2-0 last week, defeating San Dimas and Compton. They play rival Wilson at Blair Field on Friday at 6:30 p.m. for a chance to grab early control of first place in the Moore League.

7. LONG BEACH WILSON (7-4)
The Bruins went 3-1 last week, including a 5-1 victory against Cabrillo to begin play in the Moore League on Friday, March 13. Senior Eddie Becker had two RBIs against the Jaguars. Wilson lost 10-8 to Trabuco Hills in a nonleague game.

8. ST. ANTHONY (8-2-1)
The Saints are on a five-game win streak that includes a 17-11 victory against Artesia on Saturday, March 14. Sophomore Luke DeGiorgio had five RBIs in the win. They play two Camino Real League games against Bosco Tech this week.

9. LONG BEACH POLY (6-4)
The Jackrabbits move into the Top 10 after defeating Cerritos and Long Beach Jordan last week. Poly scored two runs in the top of the seventh to beat Jordan 7-5 on Friday, March 13.

10. DOWNEY (6-5)
The Vikings went 1-2 last week with the victory over Ontario Christian and the losses to Glendora and Bishop Amat. Downey begins play in the Gateway League this week with a three-game series against Warren.
