The two men killed in a head-on collision on Highway 46 early Saturday have been identified by the Kern County Coroner.
They are Stanley Carbajal, 36, of Paso Robles and  Gael Salto Fernandez, 20, of Wasco.
The CHP said Fernandez was eastbound on Highway 46 and his car traveled over the painted center dividing lines of State Route 46 into the westbound lane and directly into the path of the car driven by Carbajal.
