Woman’s hand injured in explosion at Sacramento apartment complex, fire officials say

A woman suffered a hand injury after an explosion at an apartment complex on Howe Avenue on Monday evening, Sacramento Metro Fire said.Fire officials responded to the report of a fire at the complex on Howe Avenue after 7:15 p.m. and found the woman inside the apartment with a moderate to severe injury. The fire was initially thought to have been related to fireworks but Sac Metro Fire said that was ruled out. The cause of the explosion is still under investigation. It caused damage to the windows, ceiling and cabinets, fire officials said. An infant who was at the apartment was also taken to the hospital as a precaution. This story is developing. A woman suffered a hand injury after an explosion at an apartment complex on Howe Avenue on Monday evening, Sacramento Metro Fire said.
Fire officials responded to the report of a fire at the complex on Howe Avenue after 7:15 p.m. and found the woman inside the apartment with a moderate to severe injury.
