TEMPE, Ariz. (KTRE) – Former Central Heights Blue Devil Grayson Rodriguez picked up his first win this spring in the Los Angeles Angels’ 5-2 victory over the Cleveland Guardians on Friday in Tempe, Arizona.
The right-hander has a 4.97 ERA in 12 2/3 innings pitched this spring.
Rodriguez got the start on the mound for the Angels. He pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out five and walking four.
The Angels return to the diamond on Monday to take on the Athletics.
