The Dog Haus burger and hot dog chain is continuing its expansion with a new location in San Fernando that’s also offering a look at the chain’s new menu.
The new spot opened March 11 at 1003 San Fernando Road in the San Fernando Plaza by franchisee Garen Khodaverdian.
“I’ve been a fan of the brand for years — the quality, the creativity, the energy behind it — and I’m proud to finally bring that experience to the San Fernando community,” he said in a statement.
The restaurant, which features a mural depiction Los Angeles Dodgers stars Freddie Freeman, Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts, is also the first Dog Haus restaurant to offer new menu items that will be rolled out at other locations this spring.

The new items include the Buff Chick, a crispy chicken breast burger with buffalo sauce, pickles, lettuce and miso ranch served on a grilled Big Marty’s sesame seed bun.
Another new item is The Hogfather, a pork bratwurst topped with bacon chipotle onion jam, chipotle aioli and miso ranch served on grilled King’s Hawaiian roll. Also new is the Bacon Onion Jam Smashburger, a Black Angus beef burger with Nashville hot rub, white American cheese, pickles, bacon chipotle onion jam, shredded lettuce, El Gallo BBQ sauce and miso ranch served on a King’s Hawaiian bun.

Since launching in 2010 in Pasadena, Dog Haus has expanded to more than 50 locations across the U.S. with plans to open at least 20 more locations across the country in the next several years.
