OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – Prosecutors say a 54-year-old Grosse Pointe Woods man is facing multiple charges after a string of home invasions.

The Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office released this statement on the case against Thomas Goolsby:

Between November 3, 2025, and March 11, the defendant reportedly committed several home invasions to steal jewelry. On March 11, while under police surveillance, the defendant was arrested after allegedly committing a home invasion. He is charged with one count of First-Degree Home Invasion and four counts of Second-Degree Home Invasion.

“Families should always feel safe in their homes,” said Prosecutor Karen McDonald. “These crimes are about more than property theft. They rob victims of their peace of mind and safety at home.”
