SAN BRUNO, Calif. – San Francisco’s Eva Pett (Denver, Colo.) has been named the West Coast Conference Women’s Golfer of the Month for February.
 
Pett won her first individual tournament title of the spring season with a seven-under 209 for the three-round event at The Causeway Invitational. Pett fired rounds of 73, 67 and 69 in the event to capture her second career tournament. She helped San Francisco place fifth in the 10-team event, held at Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento. Pett was one of five participants to record double-digit birdies as she totaled 10 in the three rounds.
 
Pett, who also captured a tournament title last season, finished as the runner-up in last season’s West Coast Conference Women’s Golf Championship, forcing a playoff after 54 holes. She ranks 181st in the latest national rankings.
