FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Mayor Jerry Dyer announced that his father had passed away on Tuesday.
Mayor Jerry Dyer wrote on social media, “ Today was the toughest day of my life as I had to say goodbye to my childhood hero, my Dad. The toughest man I have ever known.”
“He taught me to have a strong work ethic and to be a man of my word. “

“I am so thankful I had the opportunity to lead my Dad to Christ many years ago and rejoice in knowing that he is in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”
“Rest in peace Dad. And thank you for the memories. I love you!”
