SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Boise State pitchers limited Sacramento State to nine hits in a doubleheader sweep, Tuesday afternoon.
 
Olivia Bauer (1-3) and Loula-Rae McNamara combined for a five-hitter and a 4-1 win in the opener. Julianne Rose (5-9) and McNamara teamed up for a four-hitter and a 5-1 victory in the nightcap.
 
McNamara earned a three-inning save in each game and did not allow a hit. She now has four saves this season. Quinn Southerland went 5-for-7 with a double, RBI and two runs to pace the offense.

Freshman Loula-Rae McNamara became the first Bronco to save both ends of a doubleheader since Kelsey Broadus, March 27, 2018.
Freshman Kaitlyn Galasso was 2-for-4, the first two hits of her career.
Freshman Grace Peffley doubled in game two, her first-collegiate extra-base hit.
