Hospital officials asked for the public’s help Wednesday identifying a man believed to be in his mid-40s who was brought to Los Angeles General Medical Center.

The patient, who has been at the hospital since Friday, was found in the area of 586 S. Alameda St., according to officials with the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, which runs the Boyle Heights hospital.

The man is Black, 5-feet-6 inches tall, weighs 151 pounds and has short black hair and dark brown eyes. Officials say he is balding, has a short stature and normal build.

Although the man stated he was from Trinidad, he “remains disoriented and unable to provide further identifying information or details regarding family members,” according to a statement from the county health department.

Anyone with information about the patient was urged to call senior clinical social worker Jonathan Evancula at 323-409-3859. The Los Angeles General Medical Center Department of Social Work can be reached by calling 323-409-5253.
