Living legend Liza Minnelli brought the razzle-dazzle to the Million Dollar Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles on March 17 in a conversation promoting her newly released memoir, “Kids, Wait Till You Hear This!” The event was moderated by co-author and celebrated composer Michael Feinstein, as well Minnelli’s niece, and daughter of Lorna Loft, Vanessa Jade O’Neill. Minnelli discussed her storied career, which includes an wins for an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and multiple Tony Awards. She also talked about her famous parents, director Vincente Minnelli and actress/singer Judy Garland. At the event’s close, Feinstein accompanied Minnelli for a performance of the song, “Embraceable You,” written by Minnelli’s family friends and mentors George and Ira Gershwin.
