The 11th Annual Festival of New Plays, March 20-28
City’s Dramatic Arts department is hosting its eleventh consecutive festival of new plays written and directed by City College students.
The festival will open on Friday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m. The collection of plays will be presented in the Black Box Theatre and run until March 28.

Showtimes vary, with evening and daytime show starts.
General admission tickets are $18 and $12 for students, San Diego Community College District staff, seniors and military.
Public transportation is encouraged and free parking will be available in Lot 8.
Lunch & Learn, March 23
The City College Intercultural Center and the Career Center will be hosting a workshop for students to explore different job opportunities based on their major in A-301 from noon to 1 p.m.
Lunch will be provided for students attending as well as laptops for them to use at the event.

HAAPI Hour: Cultural Cooking, March 25
City’s AANHPI Connections Center and Seeds@City are collaborating in order to bring students a cooking demo at T-331 from 2-3 p.m.
This session offers students the opportunity to learn about the roots of onigiri in addition to making it.
Spots are limited due to space, so arrive on time and register here beforehand.
City Sports this Week
The men’s tennis team (8-3, 5-0) will face off Mt. San Jacinto (4-8, 2-1) on Thursday, March 19, at 2 p.m. at the Odus Morgan Tennis Center.
City’s baseball team (8-14, 2-7) will play against Imperial Valley (6-17, 0-8) on Tuesday, March 24, at 2 p.m. at the Morley Field Sports Complex.
