BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who allegedly burglarized a Stine Road church earlier this year.

The Bakersfield Police Department released images of the burglary suspect Friday. The incident happened on Jan. 30 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in the 3000 block of Stine Road, according to a statement.

Investigators said a man broke into the church and removed property from the building. The police department statement did not say what was taken from the church.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot tall man who was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with a logo of an individual with one hand up and white lettering on the sleeves. He was also wearing dark colored pants with red sweatpants underneath and dark colored shoes. He had a large, black backpack.
