The San Francisco Unicorns’ schedule for the 2026 Cognizant Major League Cricket (MLC) season has been officially confirmed, with the Bay Area set to host both the playoffs and the Championship Final at the Oakland Coliseum.
In a landmark moment for cricket in Northern California, the fourth edition of MLC will see its entire postseason staged in the Bay Area. Alongside hosting knockout fixtures, the Oakland Coliseum will also stage regular-season matches, with additional games scheduled at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas and a new venue at Fairplex in Pomona, California.
The Unicorns will begin their campaign at Grand Prairie Stadium with a California derby against the LA Knight Riders on Friday, June 19, followed by a clash against Texas Super Kings in a double-header on Saturday, June 20, before the tournament moves to Oakland.
Back in the Bay Area, San Francisco will take on Texas Super Kings once again, as well as Seattle Orcas and Washington Freedom in key mid-season fixtures.
The action will then shift to Fairplex, where the Unicorns are set to face Washington Freedom and MI New York. The venue is also scheduled to host cricket during the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, further underlining its growing importance.
The Unicorns’ final group-stage matches will be played in Texas, where they will meet MI New York, LA Knight Riders and Seattle Orcas as the race for playoff qualification intensifies.
Following the success of matches hosted in Oakland in 2025, the 2026 playoffs will begin in the Bay Area on July 15, with the Championship Final scheduled for 5pm ET on Saturday, July 18.
