San Francisco Police arrested two people in connection with the recent killing of a two-year-old and an adult man in two separate car crashes in the city. 

Merih Fssha Solomon, 47, of Walnut Creek, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter in connection with the crash that killed a 2-year-old and seriously injured an adult on Feb. 27 near 4th and Channel Streets in Mission Bay. 

The victims in that incident were transported to a hospital, but the child succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead there. SFPD detectives identified Solomon as the driver and arrested her after an investigation.

Solomon could face charges of vehicular manslaughter and two other traffic violations.

Meanwhile, Abdul Hye, 43, of Mountain View, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and several motor vehicle violations. He was arrested Thursday after an investigation determined he could be the driver.
