A Silver Alert was in effect Saturday in Los Angeles County for an at-risk 74-year-old man last seen in Boyle Heights.
Laurence Adams was last seen at approximately 5:45 a.m. Thursday near Beswick and Esperanza streets, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Adams was described as a 5-foot-10-inch-tall man weighing 165 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a purple LA hat, gray shorts, and blue shoes.
Anyone with information regarding Adams’ whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
