SAN DIEGO – San Diego State men’s tennis kicks off its conference schedule this weekend, hosting Air Force at the Aztec Tennis Center at noon on Sunday.

The Aztecs finished their non-conference slate with a 6-9 record. Last time out, they battled against No. 47 Harvard, but came up short 4-3, which put an end to their four-match winning streak.

The Falcons are 4-7 on the season entering the conference opener. It will be the 39th meeting of the two programs. San Diego currently leads the all-time series 35-3, but Air Force took the last matchup 4-0 in 2025.

In their match against Harvard, Eugenio Gonzalez Fitzmaurice and Imran Daniel Hazli led the way, each going 2-0 in singles and doubles. As a duo, the two Aztecs took down Rohan Murali and Kolos Kincses 6-1 on court two to help capture the doubles point. In singles competition, Hazli downed No. 112 Benjamin Privara in the second spot and Gonzalez Fitzmaurice earned a 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 win over Melchior Delloye on the third court. William Kleege and Aleksi Lofman also took their doubles match, coming out on top 6-3 over Nathan Blokhin and Benjamin Privara on court one. They remain undefeated on the top court with a 7-0 record.

Following Sunday’s match, the Aztecs will head to UNLV on March 27.
