‘Suspicious package’ prompts evacuation in San Francisco – NBC Bay Area

A suspicious package prompted the evacuation of residents in 22nd Street in San Francisco Sunday, according to police.

Police said they received reports of a suspicious package in the 3100 block of 22nd Street in San Francisco. Residents were evacuated as a precaution.

The police department later said the package was located and deemed safe. No injuries were reported.
