FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The newly opened Grub Pub closed on Friday after a dispute between the owners

The Grub Pub opened earlier in the week in downtown Fresno.

Co-owner James Torres shared that a dispute broke out with the other co-owner, who attempted to take full control of the business by bringing in a new partner and trying to remove Torres.

The conflict stemmed from financial disagreements, as one owner had contributed more than the other.

While Torres went in to collect his belongings and confront him, to let him know he can’t do that,

The situation escalated when the other co-owner reportedly insulted his son, who has autism.

Torres says this is something he will not let slide.

He told FOX26 he is unsure what will take place next with the business.
