Federal officers detained a woman at San Francisco International airport Sunday night, an airport spokesperson confirmed to NBC Bay Area.
A video posted to social media shows a woman on her knees being detained.
The detention was unrelated to President Donald Trump’s announced plan to deploy ICE agents to over a dozen U.S. airports to help Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel staffing shortages nationwide.
TSA screeners at SFO are private contractors that do not work for the agency.
