Arroyo Seco area—The Neighborhood Council hears presentations about SB 79 and the Marmion Way Transportation Project, considers a $2,500 grant for landscaping on Kite Hill, and gets an update on a Council District 1 debate. Agenda
Atwater Village—The Neighborhood Council River Committee considers a “Living Wall” project across from the Red Car Pedestrian Bridge, and discusses 311 and river safety, including locations that need to be addressed. Agenda
Tuesday, March 24
Boyle Heights—The City Council considers authorizing a $2.5 million in debt for the development of the La Guadalupe project, which would create 44 units at 1800 E. First St. Agenda, Item 9.
Echo Park—The neighborhood council will host a Community Defense and ICE Awareness Training. Instagram
Echo Park—The Neighborhood Council considers a $1,000 grant for the Echo Park Community Garden and discusses the Echo Park Pool Beautification project. Agenda
El Sereno—The LAUSD Board of Education will vote on starting the process of renaming Cesar Chavez Elementary in El Sereno in the wake of sexual assault allegations against the late labor leader. Agenda Item No. 2.
Lincoln Heights—The City Council considers approving the 2026 annual planning report for the Lincoln Heights Business Improvement District. The budget for the current year is $1.02 million. Agenda, Item 21
Montecito Heights—The City Council considers accepting a $50,000 donation from the Heritage Square Museum to be used to develop a master plan for the museum complex at 3800 Homer Street. Agenda, Item 43
Montecito Heights—The Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council Montecito Heights Local Issues Committee discusses the hillside ordinance and Flat Top hill. Agenda

Boyle Heights and East Hollywood—The City Council Transportation Committee considers instructing the Department of Transportation to report on the BlueLA electric vehicle car-sharing program, which launched in 2018 and served communities such as Boyle Heights and East Hollywood, but suffered from vandalism and other issues. The program now only operates in Culver City. Agenda, Item 1
Cypress Park—The City Council Public Works Committee considers designating the intersection of Avenue 26 and North San Fernando Road as Senator Richard Polanco Square in honor of the former State Senate Majority Leader from 1998-2002 who “helped increase the number of Democratic Latino legislators from 7 to 24.” Agenda, Item 11
