SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As we head into the new work week, we’ve rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

“I have no idea how they can contribute at an airport unless it was for intimidation purposes,” Aaron Vazquez, a TSA lead transportation security officer at San Diego International Airport and assistant airport steward for the American Federation of Government Employees Local 1260 in San Diego, told City News Service on Sunday. “What are they going to do, find somebody and shoot them?”

In other news, a new California Bill could expand legal options for conversion therapy survivors; a Bay Area man was sentenced for pretending to be underage and exploiting a 13-year-old girl; an East Bay man was charged with trafficking a 17-year-old girl he met online; and one person died over the weekend when their kayak capsized in Marin County.

Also, a driver who killed a family of four in San Francisco has been sentenced to probation, triggering backlash from the victims’ family.
