Authorities Monday continued investigating a shooting in Lake Los Angeles that took the life of a man in his 60s.
The killing occurred around 2:45 p.m. March 15 in the 23300 block of East Avenue M in the Lake Los Angeles area, according to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the department.
The Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office was working to confirm his name and notify his next of kin, saying only that he was in his 60s.
