Person fatally shot near South Park, another sent to hospital – NBC 7 San Diego

A shooting in San Diego’s South Park area killed one person on Monday evening, according to the San Diego Police Department.

San Diego police told NBC 7 another person at the scene was transported to a hospital.

The incident occurred at San Marcos Avenue near Kalmia Street at 7:42 p.m., San Diego police said.

The condition of the person who was transported to a hospital is not yet known.
