Woman fatally shot in San Francisco’s Sunset District – The Press Democrat

A woman died after being shot Tuesday night in San Francisco’s Sunset District, police said.

The shooting was reported around 10:45 p.m. March 24 near Santiago Street and 22nd Avenue, in the neighborhood of Lincoln High School and McCoppin Square Park. The woman was reportedly attacked on the sidewalk by a man.

A suspect was taken into custody, police said.
