Authorities have publicly identified a La Mesa man who died earlier this week, just over a month after a motorcycle struck him as he was crossing a street.
Tony Moore, 65, was pronounced dead at Sharp Memorial Hospital early Tuesday morning, according to the county Medical Examiner’s Office.
Moore was hit by the motorcycle at El Cajon Boulevard and Jessie Avenue in La Mesa about 12:45 p.m. on Feb. 22, the county agency reported.
A ruling on the cause of his death remains on hold pending completion of postmortem examinations, according to the medical examiner.
