Bay Area airports show no sign of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) presence at Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints.

Officials at Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport told NBC Bay Area that they haven’t been advised of ICE agents deploying locally to help out TSA.

There have been no reports of ICE presence at San Jose Mineta International Airport.

In terms of lines at security at Bay Area airports, no major issues have been reported, with normal wait times across the board.

But that’s not the case at other airports nationwide, where there have been super long lines because TSA agents, who have gone unpaid during a current partial shutdown of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, are quitting or calling out sick.
