If you’re an ultimate Disney fan, then you’ll want to know what’s in store for this year’s massive D23 fan convention coming up in Anaheim. Here’s the new update, released today, March 26:
The 2026 convention will run Aug. 14, 15 and 16, promising sneak peeks, behind the scenes glimpses and special performances just for the mega-fans who enjoy this always-sold-out event. This year, there will be expanded show hours and more new events. Access to tickets will be based on membership levels. Each D23 Gold Member can buy tickets for up to six people, including themselves. (Guests don’t have to be D23 members.)
Who can buy tickets and when?:
D23 Gold Charter Members can buy tickets starting Tuesday, March 31 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. This is an exclusive time window only for these members.
D23 Gold Essential, Choice and Complete Members can buy tickets starting Thursday, April 2 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
All other D23 members can join the purchase queue at noon Pacific Time the same day — Thursday, April 2.

How much will it cost?
D23 Fan Pass for Anaheim Convention Center admission only. There’s a new option this year — a D23 Afternoon Only ticket, offering later day entry to the Anaheim Convention Center for $49. A regular full 1-day pass is $99. Three-day passes are $297.
D23 Ultimate Fan Pass. Provides access to both the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center showcases. Prices start at $99 for a 1‑Day to $297 for a 3‑Day package.
The D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass. Offers three days of floor seating at the Honda Center, three days of Anaheim Convention Center access, and exclusive Random Selection Process (RSP) opportunities for select limited-edition pins. Priced from $1,299 to $2,599 depending on seating location.
Nuisance fee alert: All ticket purchases will incur an additional $11.25 fee each, and all transactions will incur an additional $16 delivery fee.

What’s happening?
Saturday, Aug. 8: The opening of the Walt Disney Archives’ newest exhibition at Anaheim’s Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center, “Capturing Life, Creating Character: The Art of Live‑Action.” It includes rare photography, costume pieces, artwork, and interactive elements exploring the connection between live-action performance and animation. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 27, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on D23.com.
Tuesday, Aug. 11: D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing District, featuring music, trivia, fan activities, and the sixth annual World Taste of the Packing District.
Wednesday, Aug. 12: D23 Night at Angel Stadium as the Angels take on the Texas Rangers. The first 23,000 attendees will receive a themed D23 Mickey Mouse Bobblehead, with 2,300 of these being an exclusive gold variant. Thursday, Aug. 13: On the day before D23 officially starts, D23 Day at Disneyland Resort includes a Disney Legends Cavalcade, giveaway of free Mickey Mouse ear hats (while supplies last) and more. Plus, Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party returns for one day at Disney California Adventure Park featuring live entertainment geared toward small kids, Disney Jr. characters and photo opportunities. Friday, Aug. 14-Sunday, Aug. 16. Official D23 Ultimate Fan Convention begins.
Anaheim Convention Center, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. At the Anaheim Convention Center, more than 50 panels and presentations with first looks, talks with storytellers and behind-the-scenes insights. Also the premiere of a new feature-length documentary from Leslie Iwerks. On the show floor: An all-new Walt Disney Archives exhibit called “Uncrated,” displaying props, costumes and puppets from its vast and hidden warehouses. Plus, close encounters with Disney Experiences, Walt Disney Imagineering, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic; favorite movies and series with Disney+ and Hulu; and special Disney shopping, products and more.
All-new exhibits include Mundo Pixar: The D23 Experience preview of the immersive walk-through experience touring worldwide with life-size sets of some favorite Pixar films; also ESPN and the Road to the Super Bowl, highlighting the intersection of sports and entertainment; activations inspired by “Bluey,” “Camp Rock 3” and “The Simpsons”; and a standout display featuring Mickey F1 and a Formula 1 car.
Fans can also compete as Ravensburger hosts the Disney Lorcana Challenge Championship trading card game qualifier, where the winner earns a guaranteed seat at the 2027 Disney Lorcana North American Championship, to be held at the Disneyland Hotel on Aug. 26.

Sunday, Aug. 16: 1:30 p.m. At the Honda Center, the Disney Legends Award Ceremony 2026 concludes the convention. This year, it will honor Chris Berman, Jerry Bruckheimer, Susan Egan, Eric Goldberg, Anne Hathaway, Bob Iger, Kim Irvine, Dwayne Johnson, the Jonas Brothers, Lin‑Manuel Miranda, and Alan Tudyk.
