The Fresno County Coroner’s Office on Thursday identified the two 15-year-olds killed in a shooting Monday morning.
They are Kash Lloyd and Gregory Smith, both of Fresno.
Police said the teens were returning from a nearby restaurant and heading to a friend’s home when gunfire erupted at 1:21 a.m. near the intersection of San Jose Ave. and Fourth Street, south of Barstow Avenue.
Both sustained multiple gunshot wounds. One died at the scene, and the other later died at the hospital.
A third victim, 14, remains hospitalized in stable condition after arriving as a critical case. Police said a fourth individual, 17, was also shot at but was not struck.
Investigators have not yet determined whether the shots were fired from a vehicle or by someone on foot.
