Officers shoot and kill man in North Sacramento

A man died Friday morning after a shooting involving law enforcement officers in North Sacramento, Sacramento police said.Police received an assistance call from California Highway Patrol for a shooting around 12:03 a.m. near El Camino Ave. and Boxwood St.Officers helped with medical aid until firefighters arrived, police said. A man died Friday morning after a shooting involving law enforcement officers in North Sacramento, Sacramento police said.

Police received an assistance call from California Highway Patrol for a shooting around 12:03 a.m. near El Camino Ave. and Boxwood St.

Officers helped with medical aid until firefighters arrived, police said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
