Earlier this season, the Trojans beat the arch-rival UCLA Bruins in the annual head-to-head dual for the sixth straight time and improved to 24-1 all-time over the Bruins at Marina Del Rey on Friday, March 6.

The two teams tied with 16 points apiece, yet in the last race of the morning, USC’s varsity eight came through in the clutch and delivered with a decisive tiebreaking win. Although UCLA won four races and two more boats, USC’s 1V4 and 1V8 picked up big victories to keep the Amy Fuller Kearney-Lori Guerrero Azbill Trophy.
