BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the woman killed in a stabbing on College Avenue Wednesday.

Yolanda Rojo, 30, was identified as the woman killed in the assault in the 7000 block of College Avenue.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, officers were dispatched to the residence at 9:47 p.m. March 25.

Officers arrived to find a woman, later identified as Rojo, with severe injuries. Rojo was taken to Kern Medical where she later died.

Victor Farias, 33, was found and arrested in Tehachapi in connection to Rojo’s death, officials said.
