THIS HAPPENED ON FLORIN ROAD NEAR FREEPORT BOULEVARD AT AROUND 830 LAST NIGHT. SACRAMENTO POLICE SAY THERE WAS A CRASH INVOLVING TWO VEHICLES. WHEN OFFICERS ARRIVED, THEY FOUND ONE OF THE DRIVERS LAYING IN THE ROAD WITH SERIOUS INJURIES. RESPONDERS TRIED TO SAVE HER LIFE, BUT SHE DIED AT THE SCENE. POLICE SAY THE OTHER DRIVER
A woman was killed in a hit and run crash on Friday night, according to the Sacramento Police Department. The crash happened between two vehicles around 8:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Florin Road, just east of Freeport Boulevard, officials said.Police said when officers arrived at the scene, they found the woman injured and attempted life-saving measures, but she was pronounced deceased. The other vehicle fled the scene before police arrived. The crash is still under investigation. The name of the woman killed in the crash has not yet been released.
