The tour kicks off on Sept. 8 in Sacramento and will hit 32 major cities before concluding in the band’s hometown, Los Angeles, on Oct. 24.
Spring and summer concerts at Chula Vista’s North Island Amphitheatre
Weezer will make their highly anticipated stop at Viejas Arena on Oct. 21, located in the heart of the San Diego State University campus.
Tickets for the San Diego show go on sale March 31 and are available on Weezer’s tour website.
“Weezer: The Gathering” comes on the heels of the band’s sold-out “Return to the Blue Planet” tour in 2024, which celebrated the 30th anniversary of their debut “Blue Album” released in 1994. The band will also release a new song, “Shine Again,” in April, which will be on their fourth album, with the release date yet to be determined.
With more than three decades together under their belt, the band that brought us the hits “Buddy Holly” and “Island in the Sun” has sold over 35 million records worldwide.
