Jackknifed semi-truck closes southbound Business 80 ramp, CHP says
The California Highway Patrol said the semi-truck struck a vehicle and jackknifed on a connector ramp before catching fire.

A semi-truck crashed and caught fire this morning, prompting a multi-hour closure of a Business 80 connector ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP’s South Sacramento division said the semi struck a vehicle and jackknifed on the ramp connecting southbound 80 to the westbound lanes of Highway 50. The semi then caught fire. This prompted the closure of the Business 80 and Highway 50 connector ramp and the T Street on ramp to southbound Business 80 Sunday morning.
