Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a suspect following a reported sexual assault at a Whole Foods store in Valencia earlier this week.
Deputies responded around 8 p.m. Monday to the store located on the 24100 block of Valencia Boulevard after receiving a call that a battery had just occurred at the grocery store.
According to authorities, an adult female victim was picking up items inside the store when an adult male approached her and pressed his groin toward her face.
Deputies searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate a suspect.
Authorities said there is one known victim at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing.
