A passenger travelling out of San Diego International Airport reported lines running smoothly on March 30, as Transportation Security Administration (TSA) workers started receiving some pay amid a partial government shutdown.

Footage posted by X user @peaceluvchillax shows her journey through the airport on Monday, beginning in a security line outside the terminal.

The passenger said it took her 50 minutes to get through security, and she praised airport staff for “helping the TSA line flow”, giving out snacks, and expediting families with kids.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that most security staff at the airport had received at least half a paycheck on Monday following an emergency order issued by the government. Credit: @peaceluvchillax via Storyful
