Easter doesn’t prompt widespread closures like Thanksgiving or Christmas, but some businesses will lock their doors for the holiday that always falls on a Sunday.​
A WalletHub study ranked Sacramento in the Top 20 cities in the United States for celebrating Easter. The city came in at no. 14, ranking especially highly for Easter traditions and Easter weather.
Metrics used in the rankings ranged from candy and chocolate stores per capita to the city’s Christian population, WalletHub said.
Here’s what’s open and closed on Sunday​ this Easter across the Capital region, although not all stores list specific holiday hours for Easter; it’s best to call before heading over.:

Individual store and restaurant hours may vary, however.
Westfield Galleria at Roseville: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunrise Mall: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Downtown Commons: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Arden Fair Mall is closed for Easter.
What’s closed in the Sacramento area on Easter?
Make your Costco run soon because the bulk warehouse and its gas stations will be closed on Sunday.
Government offices are typically closed on Sundays. This includes courthouses and the U.S. Postal Service. Banks are also closed.
Sacramento County public libraries will be closed on Sunday. Package delivery services UPS and FedEx will close in observance of Easter. There is no scheduled trash pickup on Sundays.
