Is San Diego County inviting voter fraud?
Think about this.
Notices have been sent to registered voters asking them to update their address with the Registrar of Voters if they have moved.
According to Election Integrity Project California, the Postal Service has said only 40% of people who move send in a change of address. Therefore, those notices with outdated addresses will not be forwarded by the Postal Service.
Since ballots will be mailed to all registered voters, we can assume a lot of those ballots will go to those outdated addresses.
Those ballots can very easily be used by the current residents at those addresses.
Although the California Elections Code requires signature verification on vote by mail envelopes, those ballots stand very little chance of being challenged, because the code states “A presumption exists that the signature on the identification envelope … is the voter’s signature.”
