BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Albertsons on Brundage Lane is closed, with signs on the window saying it was due to an inspection grade by Kern County Public Health and a power outage.
The signs were on display Thursday morning at the location on 520 Brundage Lane.
The Inspection Grade sign said, “This facility was found to have violations which constitute an immediate danger to the public health and safety. The permit to operate has been temporarily suspended and this facility has been ordered to close.”

The Kern County Public Health’s Safe Diner webpage and the Closed Facilities webpage have not been updated with the Albertsons inspection as of 11 a.m. Thursday morning. The last inspection was made on November 26, 2025, with a score of 99%.
Another sign said the location was closed due to a power outage.

Eyewitness News has reached out to Kern County Public Health for additional information, as well as PG&E for information on the outage.
