BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A search warrant executed in an east Bakersfield residence led to the arrests of several individuals for alleged involvement in the theft of copper wire.

According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and several other agencies assisted in executing a search warrant in the 10200 block of South Vineland Road Wednesday.

When deputies arrived, they found 200 pounds of stolen copper wire, burglary tools and an active illegal marijuana grow. It matched and was consistent with previous wire reported stolen.

KCSO arrested Rodolfo Juarez, Rene Gutierrez Cortez, Emily Yasnia and Maricela Cruz.

All were booked under charges related to possession of stolen copper wire, burglary tools and conspiracy.

Cruz was booked under charges related to possession of methamphetamine and a controlled substance.

The four were booked into the Kern County Jail.
