SANTA ROSA, Calif. — Santa Rosa police arrested two people on Friday who they say are responsible for the shooting death of a 60-year-old man outside his Santa Rosa residence on Brookwood Avenue earlier this month.
The victim, Mark Calcagni, was found shot to death in the street at about 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 3 by a neighbor, who called 911.
Two Dublin residents, age 43 and 25, were identified as the suspects after an investigation by the Santa Rosa Police Department’s Violent Crimes Investigations Team that was said to be based on witness interviews, surveillance footage, and unspecified “digital evidence.”
Both were allegedly former employees at an adult nightclub in San Francisco that Calcagni managed, police said in a news release Saturday.
The San Francisco Chronicle has identified Calcagni as the general manager of the Condor Club. The San Francisco establishment has long been known as the first topless bar in the United States.

The Santa Rosa Police Department alleged in its statement that the male suspect waited for Calcagni to come home before shooting him, and alleged that the woman suspect helped plan the shooting.
The male suspect was arrested at the Dublin residence that police said he and the woman suspect shared in the 7500 block of St. Patrick Way.
