SAN PEDRO, CA — A juvenile driving a speeding Ford Mustang that crashed and killed his passenger in San Pedro has been arrested of suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, authorities said Sunday.
The car was traveling northbound on Harbor Boulevard near 22nd Street at about 11 p.m. Saturday when it struck a power pole, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The passenger, another juvenile male, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The motorist, who suffered minor injuries, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.
