Sacramento sheriff’s deputies called in the Air Force over the weekend after an explosive was found buried in someone’s yard.Deputies said someone was digging in a yard on Marconi Avenue near Garfield Avenue when they discovered what looked like an explosive.The sheriff’s bomb squad was called in, and when they saw it, they called the Air Force. It turned out to be a live 81-millimeter mortar round.There is no word on how old it was or how long it had been there.
