Fake gun found on student at Justin Garza High School after 911 call

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A fake gun was found on a student at Justin Garza High School on Monday morning after a 911 call.

The Fresno Police Department says officers first received a 911 call from a a parent stating that a child on the bus headed to the school had a gun in their backpack.

Officers quickly headed to the school and were there waiting for the bus when it arrived.

They successfully took the child into custody.
