A large water main break flooded a section of San Francisco’s Sunnydale neighborhood Monday morning, sending water into a roadway and reportedly into nearby homes, authorities said.

In a social media post around 7:30 a.m., the San Francisco Fire Department said the break occurred in the 200 block of Santos Street, between Velasco and Geneva avenues. Crews from the city’s Public Utilities Commission and PG&E are reportedly on scene.

The public is urged to avoid the area as emergency repairs and cleanup continue.

No injuries were reported, and the extent of the flooding was unknown.
