BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — An adult has died after being found with major injuries in downtown Bakersfield, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Police say on April 7th, around 10:50 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of 20th Street to assist the fire department regarding a person with major injuries.
The person was taken to a hospital where they later died.
Officials say that due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, homicide detectives have launched an investigation.
